    Celebrate America 250 by capturing everyday life in the Arkansas Ozarks. The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History invites photographers to enter Our Ozarks, a photography contest featuring images taken from January 1, 2020, to the present. The contest runs January 1–March 1, 2026, and is open to individuals age 16 and older who live or have lived in Benton, Boone, Carroll, Madison, Newton, or Washington counties. Participants may submit up to three original photographs. Prizes will be awarded to the top three entries, and four photos from each county will be featured in an exhibit during Shiloh’s America 250 celebration in July 2026.     Celebrate America’s semiquincentennial at our free campus festival honoring the Ozarks' diverse tapestry! Enjoy live music by Nick Shoulders, cultural dance performances, regional speakers, and food trucks. Family fun includes mini-train rides, traditional blacksmithing, and hands-on activities with Crystal Bridges, the Amazeum, and more. We’ll also debut our new exhibit, Our Changing Landscape. Admission is free, thanks to Explore Springdale, Tyson Foods, Ozarks Electric, OzarksGo, McLarty Daniel, Harps Food Stores, Taldo Family, and Arvest Bank.
