Brooks Blevins will sign and read from his book, Up South in the Ozarks: DispatchesBook with a beige cover. Up South in the Ozarks is a collection of essays written by Blevins that focuses on the people on the region’s margins, from migrant workers to shape-note gospel singers to fireworks peddlers. Blevins is the Noel Boyd Professor of Ozarks Studies at Missouri State University and has written several books about the Ozarks, including the three-volume, A History of the Ozarks.
