    Elevate your classroom with National History Day at the Shiloh Museum! Join Arkansas Affiliate Coordinator Angela Adams for this free workshop designed for 6th–12th grade educators and librarians. Discover how NHD projects, from documentaries to websites, build student confidence and meet literacy frameworks. Participants will preview the 2027 theme, explore free museum resources, and network with regional peers. Attendance includes a complimentary lunch and six hours of Arkansas professional development credit. This workshop is free, but space is limited and pre-registration is required.     Ring, ring! Join us for our September Little Historians program as we explore the fascinating history and technology of telephones! Designed specifically for Pre-K learners, this hands-on session introduces young historians to how people used to communicate using real artifacts from our education collection. Program Highlights: Storytime: An engaging storybook reading about phones and communication. Hands-On Learning: Practice rotary and push-button dialing with real vintage phone artifacts. Movement Activity: A fun, interactive group activity to get little ones moving. Little Historians is a monthly program tailored for preschool-aged children and their caregivers to explore history through play, stories, and hands-on discovery.
