The group consists of musicians with all skill levels trying to preserve the tradition of old-time fiddle and contra dance tunes, mostly from the Appalachian and Ozark Mountain regions. The group meets from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month in the General Store building on the Shiloh Museum grounds. The Dogwood Lace Guild is dedicated to preserving and sharing the methods of hand-made lace in all forms. The guild has members who can demonstrate and teach lace made by bobbin, needle, tatting, knitting, and crochet. The Sacred Harp Singers are a small group of singers who are actively preserving the shape-note musical tradition in Northwest Arkansas. They are dedicated to promoting the historical tradition of Sacred Harp music.
