    The Shiloh Museum would like to reach out to individual and small groups of homeschooling families to provide days during the year for you to participate in our free, educational programs, even if you do not belong to a larger group. Registration is required. During this field trip students take a “journey” to 1830s – 1850s Arkansas and learn about life in the Arkansas Ozarks. They experience Ozark homesteads by visiting the museum’s 1854 log home, exploring the Settlers of the 1800s exhibit, and learning about the hands-on chores of the time period. Our Pre-K Little Historians program will introduce young learners to Native American culture and corn harvesting. 📚✨ Together, we’ll: Read an engaging storybook Get an up-close look at artifacts from our education collection Move and stretch Practice grinding corn by hand! Perfect for ages 3–5. See you there! Little Historians is a monthly program tailored for preschool-aged children and their caregivers to explore history through play, stories, and hands-on discovery.

    In recognition of National Native American Heritage Month, the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History is partnering with the Arkansas Archeological Survey and over twenty guest presenters for the 7th annual Native American Days education event. This two-day, all-virtual event offers a variety of live, interactive sessions celebrating the rich history, culture, and traditions of Native Americans in Arkansas. Program highlights include historical presentations, cultural discussions, and live craft demonstrations led by indigenous artisans.
