Monarch Watercolor Workshop

Cost: $10 per person (suitable for participants age 12 and older)

Local artist Tram Colwin will lead a Monarch watercolor on the museum grounds prior to the Monarch Festival later that day. Guests will be guided through a step-by-step process of painting a monarch butterfly. Registration is required with a suggested age range 12 and older.

Colwin, a Vietnamese-American watercolor artist, educator, and small business owner, highlights her love of nature through her art. A graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University with a BA in fine arts and recipient of the Community Activator Grant, Tram co-founded the Creative Social Retreat and Women of the Ozarks, and her work has been featured in magazines like FLUX Hawaii and At Home Arkansas.
