    Virtual via Zoom Admission: free Interested in seeing how old your home is? Want to know who owned your business location before you? In this Not Strictly History workshop, Shiloh staff will walk you through a property’s history from start to finish, using land records, deeds, maps, photos and various other tools. This process is exactly what we do when someone requests information about their home or business. We will also show you what you can expect to find if you live outside Washington County. This event is virtual and requires registration, which can be done below.

    This is an old-time music jam where the fiddlers take the lead, and the music is mostly instrumental. The group consists of musicians with all skill levels trying to preserve the tradition of old-time fiddle and contra dance tunes, mostly from the Appalachian and Ozark Mountain regions. The group meets from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month in the General Store building on the Shiloh Museum grounds.     The Ozark Wireless Society consists mostly of veteran amateur radio operators with decades of experience. Anyone interested in obtaining a ham radio license, needing technical information, or just sitting in with the group is welcome. Camaraderie is an important facet of ham radio and OWS. The meeting format is casual visiting, show ‘n tell conversations, and to just have fun! Everyone is welcome to attend OWS meetings. The group meets from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the fourth Saturday of the month except in November and December in the Shiloh Museum’s General Store building.
