October is National Apple Month! Join us either in person or online to hear Dr. Curt Rom, University Professor of Horticulture at the University of Arkansas, give his presentation, Apples in the Ozarks, as part of Shiloh’s Not Strictly History series. Rom is a lifelong resident of the Ozarks with a deep passion for local culture, particularly in the realms of food and community. He grew up selling apples from the Rom Family Orchard in Fayetteville. As a horticulture professor at the University of Arkansas, Curt focuses on sustainable and organic food production systems, emphasizing small-scale farming practices.
