Weaving in the Ozarks Workshop

The Shiloh Museum and Ozark Folkways in Winslow are partnering to present Weaving in the Ozarks at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, as part of the museum’s Shiloh Summer Series. Participants at the workshop, which will take place at Ozark Folkways, will learn about basic weaving concepts, vocabulary, and how to warp a frame loom to begin weaving. The class will also include a brief history of weaving in the Ozarks, which is the subject of Shiloh’s Tracing the Threads: Weaving in the Arkansas Ozarks exhibit.
